Friends of Barry (FOB)
is an effort of
like-minded people to come together to
change the world.

Provide a gift of $1 and we will communicate to you weekly until a
fiberglass recycling plant is up and running.
Please consider assisting us by telling others in your social
network and serving as a partner.
Gather $1 bills of 10-30 other friends and one of you write a
check and mail it to me (address is on home page of this website) or call with a credit or debit card. If you
mail, include everyone's name and email address or cell phone so
that I can thank them personally. Information gathered will not be used for
anything else but that phone call.
If possible and with your approval, we will seek to put your name on a wall when the building is
built to show that you are responsible for reversing the trend of
land mass disappearing because of fiberglass waste.
How fast can we
change the world?
Thank you for joining the
effort.
(Paypal charges 33 cents so if you use
this service and can help defray those costs, we will be grateful to
you.

Would you give $1 to change the world ... literally?
We all want our world to be a greener place and we
all want more jobs in our economy. So join me in understanding how
the two could be connected with your help.
Fiberglass is filling landfills around the world and is a worldwide
problem. Fiberglass waste from manufacturing is increasing and that
waste is typically taken to landfills.
In the early to mid 1990s, a man from Washington State named William
Amour, invented and
patented
a process to recycle fiberglass because he saw airplane and boat
manufacturers filling up landfills in the northwest with fiberglass
waste.
Here is a YouTube link to see and hear his story:
YouTube.
Unfortunately, He passed away in the late 1990s and so too
did his dream.
However, this effort is to raise enough money to build the first
prototype plant and rid the world of fiberglass waste is the
continuation of that dream. The more you know about this recycling
process, the more you understand how this could be one of the
greatest discoveries in the past 50 years to solve one of the
world's biggest dilemmas.
I heard about American Fiber Green Products about six years ago. It
is a bulletin board, publicly traded stock (OTCBB:AFBG). I
personally invested money and own stock in this company today
because I believe in this dream.
Multiple efforts are underway to raise $2 million to build the first
plant. Due to the economy, banks and money concerns, raising this
money has proven difficult.
We believe 2 million people are concerned enough to contribute $1
toward this effort. Will you join me in creating a grassroots effort to change the world?
With your help and those of other like-minded people, the dream of
William Amour could live again.
By the way, the company did not ask me to do this. This is part of
my year plus effort to help this company raise the money necessary
to get this project off the ground because I believe it could change
our future and solve a major problem. If the company does not accept the
contributions for whatever reason, I will donate proceeds to
recycling oriented non-profit organizations in the names of those
who provided the $1 gift to me.
For full and fare disclosure, I may benefit from this effort because
I own some stock in the company. But so can you. Once the company is
operating positively, the stock of the company may go up in value.
Right now you can get almost 2 shares for $1. It is our hope the
price of the stock will go up. But then again, it is a stock. If the
stock doesn't perform, at least we can say we all had a part in
fulfilling the fiberglass recycling dream. I am not recommending
that you invest in the stock of the company; only that you consider
contributing $1 to help change our world for us and our children.
You can reach me by cell phone 813.731.8718 or email
Barry@BarryCarroll.com.
When emailing, put "$1 Gift" in the Subject line. This undoubtedly
will create a lot of junk mail and personal tax burden, but I
willing to endure to see this dream become a reality. Will you
please join with me for $1?
